This footbridge has been built in order to improve the pedestrian access through the Park Road N-332, in the residential area of Orihuela Costa, where more than 50.000 inhabitants live all over the year. It is placed in front of the Orihuela-Costa Health Center , so it's strategical for ensuring the access between both sides of this road.
The bridge has been designed as a steel arch, with a central span of 32m, and 2,50 m wide. Two ramps with a maximun 9% slope, permits the access to disabled people.
The central element was placed in a three hours night operation, and it was necessary to close temporaly the National Road to the traffic.
